Dave Hogg is CEO of Springwood Hospitality and brings vision, energy and more than 1/3-century of real estate development and management experience. He is always moving forward and, more importantly, helping everyone around him move forward as well.
He is a community and industry leader. He currently chairs the Charitable Endowment Fund Committee of the Rotary Club of York, he serves on the York County Young Life Committee and the York Suburban Education Foundation, and he is a multiple Merit Badge Counselor for Boy Scout Troop #17 in York. He is also President of Springwood Real Estate Services.. He is past Board Chair at the York County Convention and Visitors Bureau and past Board Member of the York County Economic Development Corporation, and a co-founder of New Life Presbyterian Church in York. Before founding Springwood, he was also a Regional VP at General Growth Properties.
Dave’s education is from The University of Arizona and University of Denver. He has completed his coursework for a PhD in Marketing with a minor in Urban Geography.

We just returned from my daughter’s wedding in York, PA in 9/13/14, where a large number of our guests stayed at the Hampton Inn on South Queen Street. The hotel was beautiful, but more importantly, your staff was incredible. Without exception, your staff made all of our guests comfortable and I heard many guests say “from now on we’ll never stay anywhere other then a Hampton Inn”. Many even signed up for Hilton Rewards on the spot. Please extend our thanks (and maybe a bonus??) to the following staff:
Terri Elfner our coordinator and Dilmaris Diaz at the front desk who were great with all of our guests and made their stays special,
Miguel in maintenance who initially took us around to see the hotel when we first made the bookings, and who addressed all of our needs, and
Susan and Jenn in the kitchen for keeping the breakfast coming, even in light of the onslaught of 50 guests arriving at the same time (we asked all of our guests to meet us for breakfast at 8:30 the morning after the wedding, but forgot to tell Susan and Jenn)
