Justin Shelton is President of Springwood Hospitality and is a master at hotel operations and management. He has held the entire range of hotel positions since his start in the hospitality industry in 1992. Prior to joining Springwood, Justin served four years as Vice President of Operations at LBA Hospitaltiy, an entrepreneurial Marriott, Hilton and IHG franchisee. Previously he had served LBA Hospitality as a Bench Manager, General Manager, Regional Director of Operations, and Vice President of Human Resources for a total of four years before being promoted to Vice President of Operations. During his eight year tenure with LBA Hospitality, their portfolio grew from 22 to 60 hotels. Justin directed the management of this entire portfolio for four years, even after the majority had been sold to Apple REIT Companies.
Justin has implemented a scalable management system that enables real-time monitoring of labor, and daily tracking of revenue and of all variable expenses on a per-occupied-room basis. His leadership has significantly improved Guest Satisfaction Ratings, RevPAR, market share, and the bottom lines at each of the company’s existing hotels. Justin was also named by the Central Penn Business Journal as one of the “Top Forty Under 40” which honors 40 local business executives younger than 40 for their commitment to business growth, professional excellence and community service.
Justin graduated from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Science in Restaurant and Hospitality Management and a minor in Marketing. Since graduation, Justin has twice been honored by the school as the Jack Davis Professional achievement award winner.

We just returned from my daughter’s wedding in York, PA in 9/13/14, where a large number of our guests stayed at the Hampton Inn on South Queen Street. The hotel was beautiful, but more importantly, your staff was incredible. Without exception, your staff made all of our guests comfortable and I heard many guests say “from now on we’ll never stay anywhere other then a Hampton Inn”. Many even signed up for Hilton Rewards on the spot. Please extend our thanks (and maybe a bonus??) to the following staff:
Terri Elfner our coordinator and Dilmaris Diaz at the front desk who were great with all of our guests and made their stays special,
Miguel in maintenance who initially took us around to see the hotel when we first made the bookings, and who addressed all of our needs, and
Susan and Jenn in the kitchen for keeping the breakfast coming, even in light of the onslaught of 50 guests arriving at the same time (we asked all of our guests to meet us for breakfast at 8:30 the morning after the wedding, but forgot to tell Susan and Jenn)
